Scriptus vs Delphi

A Digital Mind you configure, or a book bot someone builds for you

Delphi and Scriptus both turn an expert’s body of work into something people can talk to. They are not the same job. Delphi is a self-serve Digital Mind for creators who want to configure, distribute, and iterate themselves. Scriptus is a done-for-you engagement: we build the bot on your material, embed it on your site, and you keep what readers pay.

Last researched: 4 September 2026. Delphi prices below are from delphi.ai/pricing that day. Scriptus prices are from getscriptus.com.

Choose Scriptus if

You have a book or methodology and want it live as a branded, cited product in about a week — without becoming the person who designs, hosts, and debugs the agent. You want reader billing on your own rail (Woo, Kajabi, Stripe, or Whop) and no platform cut on those subscriptions.

Choose Delphi if

You want to start today, yourself, often from a free tier. You want SMS, voice calling, and a public Digital Mind profile more than a finished knowledge product on your domain. You are comfortable operating the tool after you click Get Started.

Where Delphi is stronger

Speed and self-serve. A free tier. Voice calling and SMS as first-class surfaces. A public “Library of Minds” and celebrity proof. If you want to experiment this afternoon without a $5,000 engagement, Delphi is the more honest starting point. Scriptus is not trying to beat that price or that ramp.

Where Scriptus is stronger

Implementation is the product. We ingest your work, configure the trial or free access, and embed it under your brand. Identity, entitlements, and durable history are ours to own — not a session in someone else’s widget. Reader checkout stays on the rail you already use. There is no Scriptus cut of subscriber revenue. You can ask us to show a question the bot refuses; that is part of how we sell accuracy.

Pricing, without theater

Scriptus is more expensive as a line item: $5,000 + $500/month versus Delphi Builder at $79/month. That is not a rounding error. The comparison that matters is not $79 versus $500. It is the cost of a finished knowledge product — including someone who will build, cite, and support it — versus the cost of a tool you will operate. If you will not operate it, $79 is not the real number.

Delphi Immortal is custom and unpublished here. We will not guess it. Verify current monetization terms on Delphi’s site; third-party writeups disagree on revenue share.

Switching

There is no automated “import from Delphi.” A move to Scriptus means we train on your source material again, on our tenant, and replace the embed. You keep your IP. Delphi conversations and contacts stay in Delphi unless you export them yourself.

Verdict

If you want a Digital Mind in the public square, with calling and a free way to start, choose Delphi. If you want one book or methodology working as a product on your site, with someone else carrying the build, choose Scriptus. If you only need anonymous Q&A over a PDF, you need neither of us — use NotebookLM.

Questions people actually ask

Is Scriptus a Delphi alternative?

For authors and coaches who want a branded, monetized bot on their own site, yes — that is a real alternative. For creators who want a self-serve Digital Mind with SMS and calling, Delphi is the category product and Scriptus is the wrong tool.

Why is Scriptus so much more expensive than Delphi?

You are paying for a built product and an ongoing operator relationship, not a seat in a builder. Delphi’s $79 Builder plan is a software subscription. Scriptus’s $5,000 + $500 is an engagement. Compare them only if you were going to buy both kinds of thing.

Can I try Scriptus the way I can try Delphi?

You can use the live Scriptus bots today. The Imbalance of Like bot is free with no paywall. Marcus and Nietzsche give three questions free. A Scriptus engagement includes a demo trained on your material before you commit. There is not a $0 Scriptus workspace you configure yourself.

Does Scriptus take a cut of reader subscriptions?

No. Subscriber revenue is yours. Checkout stays on WooCommerce, Kajabi, Stripe, or Whop — not on getscriptus.com.
